Welcome to Elizabeth Healthy Life!

I’m a former PreK teacher turned running coach, business owner, and blogger! With a focus on leading a healthy lifestyle, creating delicious recipes, and sharing my best running tips and race recaps, Elizabeth Healthy Life documents my life as a young adult who turned tragedy and grief into motivation to work hard, build strength, inspire others, set goals, and crush them.

While fitness and healthy eating have always been a part of my life, they’ve truly become who I am over the past 10 years. If you haven’t already, please read “Robert” to see how my brother has inspired and motivated me to take charge of my life and chase my dreams.

A little bit about me… I’m married to my husband who I met studying abroad in Shanghai, China. We recently moved to New Hampshire after living in Boston for eight years and I guess you could say we’re starting our “next chapter”. It will be fun to document where this chapter takes us 🙂

As you may have noticed, I love to run. I’m a 16x marathoner, mountain ultra runner, and a certified running coach. I founded my own business, Strongest Self, LLC in 2018 because I’m so passionate about helping others reach their running goals, whether that’s to PR in a race, comeback after an injury, or simply to run more consistently. Check out my Run Coaching page to learn more about the services I provide and what working together may look like.

I love food (who doesn’t?!), so please explore the colorful, delicious, and mouth-watering recipes here to fuel your healthy lifestyle. Be sure to leave a rating and review of a recipe you try!

If you are interested in reading or listening more, I have been featured in a few newspapers and on a popular running podcast about my lifestyle and journey to becoming the runner and person I am today.
